With everyone’s social media feed being filled with images of exotic vacations and travel, we were reminded of this beautiful custom home Applied Photography shot. With its extensive use of imported stone and graceful arches, these spaces call to mind vineyards in Italy, and families staying cool in gracious rooms full of dazzling light. Perhaps with an olive tree or twelve thrown in.

On a technical note, bringing dimension and depth to these spaces requires a clever balance between ambient and staged lighting that draws out the warm tones that bring personality to life in spaces like these!
