05 Mar Applied Takes the Top Award!

Applied Photography‘s own Jim Doyle, won the prestigious international Grand Imaging Award from Professional Photographers of America (PPA) on February 2, 2015.

Doyle’s image, “A Room With A View” (above) was selected by an international panel as the 1st Place in the “Commercial and Illustrative” category at the Grand Imaging Awards. The event was held at the PPA’s annual convention, Imaging USA, in Nashville, Tennessee.

“This is the third year in a row that one of my images has been selected to compete in this Grand Imaging Award and my first, 1st Place Award.” said Doyle. “It is truly an honor to be part of this amazing competition. There is stiff competition from some of the best photographers in the nation and I am proud to have been honored with this award.”
